Newsletter No. 118 – June 2016

The May meeting was all about Richard III, a King who has recently become more famous for where he was buried than what happened in his reign. Toni Mount gave us an excellent explanation of Richard’s complicated family background, how he came to be on the throne, and what happened during his brief 3 year reign, with lots of slides

Our next meeting will be on Monday 13th June at 8pm in the Horton Kirby Jubilee Hall (next to the Village Hall) and our speaker will be Christoph Bull, who will be talking to us on “Our Thames from Dartford to Grain”.

Future 2016 meetings:
11th July Restoring Reynolds Place, Horton Kirby – Laurence Hatfield
12th September The Darenth Villages – Rod Shelton
14th November AGM, a short talk by Terry Moyle and the Cheese & Wine Evening

As ever, our publications and other items are available at all our meetings. We have recently received a grant from the Parish Council, and the Walking Tour of the parish is going to be updated and reprinted

We look forward to seeing you on Monday 13th June at 8pm in the Jubilee Hall viagra est une pilule.
